Minitab

Minitab is powerful statistical software widely used for performing data analysis, quality improvement projects, and within Six Sigma projects. With user-friendly tools and intuitive functionalities, Minitab enables users to visualise complex datasets and perform statistical analyses.

The training is practically structured with exercises and real-world examples. You will work directly with Minitab on your own laptop and learn new applications that will benefit even experienced users. Symbol is a Minitab Gold Partner. As a participant, you will receive a free 6-month Minitab licence.

Who is this training for?

The Minitab training is intended for professionals working in an organisation where Minitab is applied, but who do not operate at a Green or Black Belt level themselves. Prior knowledge of Minitab is therefore not required.

What will you learn?

Upon completion of the training, you will be able to:

• Navigate in Minitab and use the Minitab Assistant to choose the right tool
• Enter and manage data and apply descriptive statistics
• Perform graphical analyses: including histograms, box plots, Pareto, scatter, bubble plots, 3D surface plots, and contour plots
• Apply Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to validate measurement methods
• Perform and interpret hypothesis tests
• Perform and interpret regression analyses
• Perform capability analyses: calculate and interpret Cp, Cpk, and Ppk
