A certification process does not have to be successful on the first attempt. If you do not pass the examination, it is possible to take a resit. The same rate applies to a resit as to the original examination.

When is a practical project required?
For Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a practical project is required in addition to the theoretical examination as part of the certification. For the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, 2 projects must be submitted.
What is the difference between Yellow Belt, Orange Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt?
Yellow Belt focuses on the basics of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement. Orange Belt is intended for professionals actively participating in improvement projects. Green Belt focuses on independently executing improvement projects with data analysis. How long is a Lean Six Sigma certification valid?
Lean certifications according to LSSA guidelines do not have a fixed expiry date and remain valid indefinitely.
Do I have to obtain Yellow Belt first before progressing to Orange Belt, Green Belt, or Black Belt?
No, this is not mandatory. You can start at the level that suits your experience, prior knowledge, and role within the organisation.
