Over de training

Lean Six Sigma Orange Belts actively tackle improvements. They lead small improvement projects in their immediate work environment and make a valuable contribution as team members to larger Green or Black Belt projects. The Orange Belt is therefore the logical step for anyone who wants to go beyond awareness and get started with process improvement themselves.

In this training, you will learn to identify and apply the most important Lean and Six Sigma principles. You will work with practical tools for process mapping, data visualisation, and problem solving. Through a Lean simulation game and a practical case study, you will translate the theory directly to your own work environment.

Who is this training for?

The Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt is suitable for every employee who is directly or indirectly involved in process improvement and wants to go a step further than the Yellow Belt.

This training is suitable for:

  • Operators and production staff
  • Engineers and process improvers
  • Process owners and quality staff
  • Supervisors, team leaders, and managers
  • Administrative and financial staff

What will you learn?

Upon completion of the training, you will be able to:

  • Apply Lean principles and tools in your own work environment
  • Understand customer value and translate it into a CTQ Flowdown

While a Yellow Belt primarily has basic knowledge and provides support, an Orange Belt takes a more active role in analysis and improvement. You move from recognising problems to actually solving and sustaining them with data and structure.

No, that is not necessary. You can start the Orange Belt training directly. If you have already completed a Yellow Belt training, there will be a fair amount of repetition.

Orange Belt training enables you to independently implement improvements with a measurable impact on quality, lead time, and costs. You learn to analyse processes, determine causes, and sustain improvements in the long term.

No, the Orange Belt training itself focuses primarily on the development of new knowledge. However, many Orange Belts are involved in achieving improvements in their own work environment or participate as team members in a larger project.

The training is suitable for professionals who want to improve processes within their own area of responsibility, such as team leaders, specialists, and coordinators in both production and services.
