In this Six Sigma upgrade training you will fill your backpack with many powerful techniques for visualizing and analyzing data. Even if you have never been a whiz at math, after this Six Sigma training you will be able to make statements about whether or not certain factors are significant contributors to the problem.

After attending Lean Green Belt training, you can continue with Six Sigma upgrade training. This training builds on what you have already learned in the Lean Green Belt training.
Six Sigma Green Belt upgrade training is widely attended by project managers, design, process and quality engineers and process owners. You may be able to advance to Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training after this course.
Objective
By applying Six Sigma techniques combined with the structured DMAIC approach, you will be able to effectively address and resolve persistent quality problems. You will be amazed at the power of applying certain Six Sigma techniques and using Minitab.
Study Load
Our rule of thumb is 8 hours of class is 8 hours of preparation and study. Thus, the study load of the Six Sigma Green Belt upgrade training is approximately 40 hours.
Contents of Six Sigma Green Belt training (upgrade)
- Visualizing data using Minitab
(Pareto, Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Dot Plot, Histogram, Box Plot, Time Series Plot, Scatter Plot) - Descriptive statistics (mean, median, standard deviation)
- Setting up and evaluating measurement systems (MSA).
- Research on short- and long-term variation
- Techniques for investigating and reducing variation
- Practical application of distributions (Continuous and discrete)
- Correlation and regression studies
- Hypothesis testing and testing (for averages, variances and proportions)
- Analysis of variance (ANOVA).
- Process-capability (Cpk) & process-performance (Ppk).
- Use of advanced experiments (Design of Experiments – DOE).
- Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Supplies
During the first day of Six Sigma training, you will learn to work with Minitab. This program is a powerful tool for visualizing and analyzing data. You will immediately experience the added value of Minitab over Excel. Symbol is a Minitab Gold partner. This means that as a Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt student, you will receive a full Minitab license at no cost for the duration of the training.

A Six Sigma Green Belt in-company training offers you (team/department/organization) the opportunity to make the training company-specific, so that during the training the translation between the theory and your own practice is made immediately. Internationally recognized certificate
Upon completion of the Six Sigma Green Belt training (upgrade), you can earn an internationally recognized certificate for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt through the LSSA (Lean Six Sigma Academy). The full exam includes a theory and a practical part. The exam for this is administered according to LSSA guidelines.
The field projects are reviewed by the LSSA. You will receive a partial certificate for both elements (theory and practice). The full Lean Six Sigma certificate requires a passing grade in both the theoretical and practical parts.
Symbol is a so-called ATO (Accredited Training Organization). Therefore, you can register directly with us.
