What is the difference between Lean and Lean Six Sigma?
Lean and Six Sigma are commonly mentioned in the same breath. Yet they are two different disciplines. In the article below, Edwin Kippers discusses this in detail.

Can I advance in different courses? For example, from Lean Six Sigma Green Belt to Lean Six Sigma Black Belt?

Is there parking near the training location(s)?
Parking is available at our training locations. You will receive the address of your training location in an invitation email 2 weeks before the training begins. If you are attending a training at our location in Amersfoort, you can park in the Q-Park P+R Barchman Wuytierslaan (paid), approximately a 5-minute walk from our office. This location is right across the street from Amersfoort Central Station, though.
Can you easily get to the training location by public transport?
Most locations are easily accessible by public transportation. You will receive the address of your training location in an invitation email 2 weeks before the training begins.
Are directions available to the training locations?

Questions regarding LSSA exams
Do I have to take mandatory exams?
No, you choose whether to complete your training with an internationally recognized LSSA exam.
What does an exam cost?

To best prepare you for the LSSA exam, an exam training will take place on the last day of class.
Where do the LSSA exams take place?
If you want to conclude your training that you took in the open schedule with an LSSA exam, you can choose from the Enschede or Amersfoort locations. The LSSA Lean Six Sigma Green and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt exam is additionally administered at the University of Twente. Also, you can take the exam online.

When will the invitation to the exam be sent out with the latest information?
This invitation will be sent one week before the exam.
Do I have to pay to use a loaner laptop with Minitab?
If you need the laptop with Minitab at one of our open schedule trainings, its use is free. If you want to use a loaner laptop with the LSSA exam, it costs €25. In both cases, however, please indicate via the appropriate registration forms whether you would like to make use of a loaner laptop.
When can I expect the exam results?
Approximately one week after you take the exam, we will contact you by phone to communicate the results. If we cannot reach you by phone, you will receive the results by mail.
After my exam, can I receive the questions with my answers?
Unfortunately, that is not possible. The exam questions are the property of the LSSA and will not be released. You can, however, see your exam by appointment.

How can I submit my practice project?

How many projects do I need to submit for full Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification?
For Lean Green Belt or Lean Black Belt certification, you submit one practical project. For a Lean Six Sigma Green or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, you submit two hands-on projects. See all conditions and skill sets on the following pages:
