Design for Six Sigma (DfSS)
This is a master class for those who have already completed a Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt course and wish to start applying Design for Six Sigma in product or process development.
As a Lean Six Sigma expert in a product development organization, you aim to ensure the quality of innovative and high-tech products already in the design process. The market is evolving rapidly, and coordination is becoming an increasingly challenging task. The introduction of new products is accelerating. At the same time, products integrate more and more functions and technologies, making them increasingly complex and therefore more difficult to design. The Design for Six Sigma Master Class focuses on applying Six Sigma techniques to achieve high product quality from the initial stage of production.

This Design for Six Sigma master class is designed for those who have already completed Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt training and are responsible for managing an engineering or product development process or integrating product life cycle data.
Objective
In the Design for Six Sigma Master Class, you will learn to integrate various Lean Six Sigma tools during the engineering or product development process to achieve a “First Time Right” result. In the process, you will learn to shorten the development cycle and make the industrialization and maintenance of the product more efficient.

The Design for Six Sigma master class covers the elements below. The topics have already been covered in the regular Black Belt training. In this master class we will explore these methods and techniques. We will additionally discuss in detail the power of applying these techniques in the design process of new products.
- DMADV projects within the design process
- Design for Excellence (DFM/A, DTC, Poke Yoke)
- Quality Function Deployment (QFD).
- DFMEA – Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis.
- Reliability engineering
- Tolerance analysis

HBO / HBO+. Engineers and project managers who have previously completed Green or Black Belt training.
