On Thursday, January 30, 2020, Daniel Brouwer kicks off our Inspiration Classes with an inspiring talk on how Lean can bridge the gap between IT and organizations. Especially in these times of far-reaching digitalization, it is necessary that processes are optimized and there is no gap between the wishes of the organization and the technical IT capabilities. In the interest of agility and delivering optimal service to your “customers,” it is critical that IT and shop floor (and certainly management) employees speak the same language. From delivering customer value and optimizing processes, Lean can play a big role in this. In fact, digital transformations cannot take place without optimizing internal processes.

Without losing sight of people, Daniel connects theory with practice and process with technology. Since 2006, his focus has been on developing and improving the collaboration between IT and organization. He also writes articles and speaks regularly at events. Two questions are central to everything he does: could it be easier? can it be smarter?
