Working with a young professional
Does your organization need temporary additional support in achieving its goals? Then you’ve come to the right place at Symbol. We temporarily provide additional expertise from young and enthusiastic project leaders and engineers.
We annually select five Young Professionals from a large pool of potentials who use Symbol academy to boost their budding careers. They attend training to develop themselves, as well as engage in practical work. At your organization, for example.
What is the added value of a Young professional?
The young professional will join your organization for a period of four to six months, working as a Quality, Manufacturing or Process Engineer or as a Project Leader. For example, the Young Professional works on reducing lead time, improving quality systems, optimizing 8D process, setting up business processes (ISO), MSA studies, FMEA structure or setting up work instructions.
Bringing a young professional in-house has even more advantages. In fact, you will have access to Symbol’s network in the areas of Operational Excellence, Lean Six Sigma, Quality, Data Science. The young professional is coached by an experienced senior consultant. Sometimes coaching takes place in the background; sometimes they work intensively together on an assignment. In addition, you get access to the Symbol community, you can join our inspiration days and get discounts on our trainings. And if the young professional and your organization are a match, you can eventually hire him or her.
