Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training from Symbol

  • In this Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training course, you will be trained to become a specialist in executing complex improvement projects. In this role, you will soon be improving operational processes as well as quality.
  • You will learn both Lean techniques (which allow you to design processes more efficiently) and Six Sigma techniques (to reduce variation in processes).
  • After the training – with your certificate of participation or internationally recognized LSSA certificate in your pocket – you, as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt specialist in your organization, will ensure shorter lead times, fewer errors and fewer rejects. This translates into lower costs and higher customer satisfaction.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belts are specialists in executing complex improvement projects. On the one hand, Lean Six Sigma Green Belts work to improve operational processes. By applying Lean techniques, such as Value Stream Mapping, waste is identified and eliminated. This leads to less work in progress and reduced lead time. On the other hand, Lean Six Sigma Green Belts work to improve quality. Applying Six Sigma techniques reduces variation and increases capability. This leads to higher quality and less rejection.

So the difference between a Lean Green Belt and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is the knowledge he or she gains in the area of Six Sigma. In this Green Belt training we will cover Lean techniques as well as Six Sigma statistical and analytical techniques. To apply Six Sigma techniques, we use Minitab.

Green Belts typically work on improving processes within a particular department, while Black Belt projects are often cross-departmental. Nevertheless, the impact of a Green Belt project can be very large, making significant contributions to business and customer satisfaction.

For whom

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training is widely attended by project managers, department managers, process owners and process managers. Participants come from many different sectors. Within the industry, it is widely followed by design, process and quality engineers. The education level for this course is HBO/HBO+.

Objective Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training

After this training, you will look at processes differently as a Green Belt. You can identify redundant activities and assess process performance more objectively. You have mastered Lean techniques that allow you to design processes more efficiently and Six Sigma techniques to reduce variation in processes. This leads to shorter lead times and fewer errors and rejects. errors can be reduced. This translates into lower costs and higher customer satisfaction.

Study load Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training

This Green Belt training course lasts for 8 days. You take the training either in class or virtually. You get the most out of Green Belt training if you study the material after each block and preview the next training block. Our rule of thumb is 8 hours of class is 8 hours of preparation and study. Thus, the study load is approximately 64 hours.
